The Tampa Bay Score Card:

Efforts from Rick Scott Campaign

A brief update from the campaign trail. As of Sept. 1st, I am no longer with the Rick Scott for Governor campaign. It was a fantastic experience and I ask that we stay involved. We, as Republicans, need Rick to win to help all Republicans across Florida and Tampa Bay. So I ask you to stay engaged, volunteer with the campaign, other campaigns, and the Republican Party. Work toward Victory Day in November!  My friendship with all of those I met along the pathway will be forever in my memories. Check out the score card at the Read More link:

President Obama's NASA Vision

President Obama addressed the issue of the US Space Program this past week in Florida. From the Kennedy Space Center, he talked about a path forward for NASA. One with a direction toward expanding our efforts beyond low-earth orbit, where the Space Station and Space Shuttle inhabit. I applaud his words.

My American Brothers and Sisters,

We stand together as members of the first century of the third millennium. On this day, an encumbered burden for our generation weighs mightily on our minds. For this is Tax Day, born of the 16th Amendment to our Constitution, ratified in the winter of February 1913, wholly One-Hundred and Thirty Seven years after that fateful July morning of 1776. A land, a people and its generation would choose, that day, to set in motion the inheritance of an income tax that we have to this day.

The great American Republic has since built a governmental and regulatory beast that once took and re-apportioned a mere tenth of its citizen’s wealth, but has now bloomed into a system that finds nearly half of our economy born of a government program.
